CrawlerDamienKeymasterSome of you read ahead. Some of you have not got there yet, and would rather not be told.
Until now those two groups had one shared problem: a post either spoiled something or it did not, and the crawler on the wrong side of the books had no way to know which until they had already read it.
Now you can fold it. Put the text between a spoiler tag and it arrives closed. The crawler reading decides whether to open it.
The thing you do not want to say out loud.
Give it a label if it helps someone judge the risk:
Text goes here.
Here it is working. This one is about the dungeon rather than the books, so nobody loses anything by opening it:

One page of the Registry is hiding a sigil today. It is not this one.Two things to know, so nobody is surprised:
- It is a courtesy, not a lock. The text is in the page, folded shut. Anyone determined can open it, and search engines can read it. It exists so a reader can choose, not to keep secrets from one.
- It cannot hide a title. A thread called “so X dies in chapter 14” spoils everyone before they have clicked anything. Keep endings out of the subject line.
It works in replies as well as new topics, and there is a reminder under the box you are typing in.
