📊 The Stats of the Dungeon
Every crawler descends with nothing but grit and a number. The rest is earned.
⚔️ Experience Points (XP)
XP is the measure of a crawler’s progress through the dungeon. You earn it by proving your knowledge of the books, surviving floor descents, and completing challenges.
- Quizzes: Each quiz rewards XP based on difficulty — Easy quizzes grant 50 XP base, Medium 100 XP, Hard 200 XP. Perfect scores earn bonus XP.
- Floor Descents: Choosing to descend a floor grants 25 XP × floor number. Descending to Floor 3 earns 75 XP; Floor 5 earns 125 XP.
- Levels: XP accumulates into levels. Level 1 requires 100 XP, Level 2 requires 250 XP, and the ladder climbs from there.
🏅 Fun Fact: Only crawlers with a registered Crawler Number can earn XP. If you haven’t registered yet, the dungeon doesn’t know you exist.
🏰 The Floors
The World Dungeon has eight floors, each more dangerous than the last. Your floor determines what content you can access — and what challenges await.

📜 Important: You don’t descend automatically. The dungeon moves at your pace — a hidden staircase will appear when you’re eligible, but you must choose to take it. Declining is always safe: the door will simply find you again on another page, another day.
🎁 Loot Boxes & Rewards
Descending a floor grants you a loot box waiting in your HUD. Click to open it and discover:
- Stat boosts — STR, DEX, CON, INT, CHA increases scaled to your floor
- Random items — from a Rusted Dagger to Dragon Scale Armor
- Bonus XP — extra experience on top of the descent reward
📦 Box tiers: Bronze (Floors 1-2) → Silver (3-4) → Gold (5-6) → Platinum (7-8).
🖥️ Your HUD
Every registered crawler gets a Heads-Up Display at /my-account/. The HUD shows:
- Your Crawler Number, Race, Level, and current Floor
- XP progress bar and stat bars
- Unopened loot boxes
- The Crawler World Map — blue dots showing where crawlers across the world hail from
- Your personal activity log of descents and achievements
🧭 Hall of Readers
The Hall of Readers is the public registry of all crawlers. Every registered member gets a Crawler Number — the lower the number, the earlier they entered the dungeon.
