The dungeon just got longer, and the walk got shorter.

Until today the registry only knew about eight floors. That was never the truth of the place — it was
just how much of it we had written down. The Codex now carries all eighteen, from the Entrance
to Scolopendra’s Lair at the bottom.

While we were down there, we also fixed the pacing. The floors were spread out on a timeline that had
nothing to do with the books, and a lot of crawlers were looking at months of nothing to do. That is
compressed now. If you are standing on the Overcity wondering when anything else happens, it happens sooner
      than the old numbers said.

      What is new:

      • Eighteen floors. The Codex has a page for every one, arranged by category. Floors 9 through
18 are new to the record. Two of them are still unnamed, because the books have not named them, and we are not
        going to invent it.
      • Floor 11: A Parade of Horribles. A staged event rather than a floor to survive: build a
float, march a three-kilometre route past an audience that cannot reach you, and finish in an arena stocked
from your own kill record. There is a floor boss waiting at the end of it. Losing to her costs you the
prize and nothing else — not a level, not a floor, not an item. Same as every fight on this registry.
      • Parties can be found now. Crawlers who are not in a party can see which parties have
chosen to be listed, ask to join, and the leader decides. If you lead a party, you now have settings: list it
or do not, say whether you are accepting new members, and add one line about what you are about.
      • The Codex itself. One page per category instead of a single long list, and the floors
finally read in order. The Relics and Races pages are where they belong.

A note on the party settings. Listing is off for any party you create from now on
      — you choose to appear. Existing parties were listed for you, because a party nobody can find is not
much use to anyone, and every leader will be told so they can switch it off. If you would rather not be found,
      there is one checkbox.

Descend responsibly. The System is watching, and it has opinions.

Wonderful update so far! Love that it’s easier for parties to gain members now! Hoping for a better party tab in the future for easier viewing/chatting access! Would be cool to have a tab option on the main options section possibly?
