🪜 Canon Ladder
The Canon Ladder is the dungeon’s daily climb through Dungeon Crawler Carl canon — five rungs, shown one at a time, harder as you go. Nothing is paid until you reach the top.
How it works
- Five rungs, one question at a time. Rung two does not appear until rung one is answered correctly.
- Each rung is drawn from a deeper tier than the last. The shallow end of the books at rung one; the details people argue about at rung five.
- The same ladder for every crawler, all game day. A new one is cut at midnight Mountain time (06:00 UTC).
- Four answers per rung, shuffled. The right one is not always in the same slot.
- A wrong answer costs you nothing. The rung stays open — it simply does not advance. Answer it again when you think you have it.
Rewards
+90 XP for clearing all five rungs, once per game day. Nothing is paid per rung, and a ladder you have already cleared pays nothing on a replay. The XP lands the same way every other award does: in your level and Activity Feed.
A ladder, not a quiz
The twelve quizzes on the quizzes page show you every question at once and pay per quiz. The Ladder shows you one rung, keeps the next one behind it, and pays only at the top. Stall on rung three and you keep nothing — and lose nothing.
What is NOT built yet
- No leaderboard. Your climb is yours; nothing ranks it, and nobody sees it but you.
- No streak. Missing a day costs you nothing, and there is nothing to break.
- No bonus for a clean climb. The panel counts your wrong answers on the way up; they pay nothing extra.
- No practice mode. One ladder a day, and the questions change tomorrow.
