Your Crawler Portrait
Your card carries your race’s artwork by default — the same face every crawler of that race wears.
If you would rather have a portrait of you, the crawler behind the number, you can have one drawn.
How to get one
The panel sits directly beneath your card at the Crawler ID Card. Tick
Use my profile photo to draw my portrait, then press Generate my portrait. It
takes about half a minute.
- You must have chosen a race and a class first. A portrait has to know what
it is drawing. - It costs you nothing. No XP, no loot, no dungeon currency.
One draw
Every crawler gets one portrait. That is not a ration on your fun — it is what the
portrait is for. The point is to see yourself in the kit you have actually earned: the crown, the mail,
the crystal at your throat, the relic on your belt. One image, of you, as you are.
It is not a slot machine. You do not get to draw six and keep the handsomest one. Your portrait will also
not redraw itself when you equip something new — the panel will tell you plainly that it
no longer matches what you are wearing, which is a report that your portrait is out of date, not an invitation
to reroll.
Your photo
If you have uploaded a profile photo and ticked the box, the portrait is drawn from your face.
The photo is sent once, straight to the image service, inside that one request. It is never given a public link
and no third party can fetch it, and the picture stays exactly where it was — on your profile, under your
control.
What comes back is a stylised fantasy drawing of you: it keeps your features and renders them in the
dungeon’s house style. It is not a photograph, and it is not a copy of your picture.
With no photo, or with the box unticked, you get a portrait of your race instead. Either way
it is drawn from the gear you are actually wearing at the time.
What it does not do
Nothing else. It changes no stat, no roll, no fight and no floor. It is the picture on your card. Supporters
get recognition rather than advantage, and so does a handsome portrait — everyone descends at the same
speed.
If it does not look like you
Say so. These are drawings made by a machine, and they approximate a face rather than reproducing one. A bad
likeness is something to tune, not something to live with — tell the System AI and it will be adjusted.
