I have the second word, but that still leaves like 22 letters the first word could be

I have figured out 5 of the letters, the entire second word, but nothing I’m trying works for the first word.

If anyone wants here is what I know:

My wife and I used to send love letters to each other in a substitution cipher when we were dating. It’s easier if you have a key or phrase word that builds the cipher. And since this is just random substitution, and the words might be made up it’s just hours of trial and error.
